Each piece in this collection has been handmade from porcelain with a moody, metallic coppery-black glaze interior (satin finish). The exterior of the plates feature unglazed black porcelain which has been hand-sanded to a smooth finish for a more textured tactile experience. Each piece has been stamped with the Honeycomb Studio makers mark and is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.

This is a beautiful but extremely variable glaze and is a true celebration of the handmade nature of ceramics. Finishes can range from a matte black to a satin copper, and while efforts will be made to keep each set cohesive, each plate will be slightly different.
